3.4. OpModes menu entry

This topic covers the 4. group of icons on the top bar.

 

4. group – menu entry: OpModes
Icon Description Shortcut
Standard shapes Standard shapes pop-up menu will appear on the right-click on image Ctrl+1
Special shapes Special shapes pop-up menu will appear on right-click on image Ctrl+2
Selections Selections pop-up menu will appear on right-click on image Ctrl+3
Color picker Color picker is activated. Ctrl+4
Pan image/move stencil Panning/stencil moving is activated Ctrl+5
Zoom selection Zoom selection is activated Ctrl+6
Manipulate layers Manipulate layers pop-up menu will appear on the right-click on image Ctrl+7

Color picker commands (LMB and RMB stands for left/right mouse button):

  • Ctrl+LMB picks pixel color under the cursor and sets it as primary color in currently selected brush.
  • Ctrl+RMB picks pixel color under the cursor and sets it as secondary color in currently selected brush
  • LMB: picks pixel color under the cursor ans sets it as short palette entry color (active entry).
  • RMB: invokes pop-up menu, where you can select which palette entry will be set with pixel color under the cursor. Note: if selected entry number is higher then current palette colors number, nothing will happen.

Pan image/move stencil mode is used to pan image by simply dragging current background image. However, if stencil is loaded and visible (active), using this mode performs stencil move.

Zoom selection mode is used to zoom into desired rectangle selection: simply press LMB, drag the mouse cursor to desired position and release LMB. Selected part of image will bee zoomed to fit the IMA screen.

Note: initially, when program is started, standard  shapes mode is active.
