This group is closely related to actions (left bar), as selected action mode is applied to complete image | selection | contour | mask.
When applying selected action mode through selection, only selected part of image will be affected. To apply action through contour or mask, you must first create mask using “assistant object” tool (right bar). When applying some action mode through the contour or mask, currently selected brush settings will be used.
