New version of Pixopedia XE32 is available (first Beta version, finally leaving Alpha stage). First of all, here is the list of changes and new features:
- Automatic “downgrade” to LE when Microsoft redistributable files are missing (convenient for Windows XP users).
- User forced “downgrade” to ME,LE or TE (check documentation).
- Close filter removed from brush settings.
- Shrink option removed from geometric shapes filling rule.
- Changes in Spreader action (revised current options, new options added).
- Changes in parallel brush: additional types added (cross and tube).
- Possibility of creating short palette from current image added (4, 5, 8, 10 and 16 colors). Feature accessible through Short palette options button.
Here is a list of bug fixes from previous version:
- Bug in Spreader action (Multicolor spread): does not work as supposed – fixed (+lot of changes).
- Bug in Spreader action (Stroke warper): inconsistent names and values when twirl is selected (angle-strength) – fixed.
- Bug in Image nozzle action: when this action is active, exiting program produces program crash – fixed.
- Bug in Image warp action: inconsistent behavior of “assistant” objects in quadrangle and mesh mode – fixed.
- Bug when switching from Image warp action to Ornaments action: access violation + instead of ornaments, warp panel is shown – fixed.
- Bug when non-rectangular selection is copied to clipboard and pasted as new image: alpha channel is lost – fixed.
- Same bug with marker action – fixed.
- Bug in Decomposition mode: when switching back to Standard mode while some decomposition level is selected, background image is lost – fixed.
